Double Double for Lloyd Le Page, not only did Lloyd win for a second year running, but with the same bird.

an outstanding over year clear cap blue hen. With hardly any signs of over year feathers.

I was pleased to see 45 Blue Lizards benched at the National this year, seen as many had told me they had not had a good breeding season. Judge was Andy Williamson for BLCC chairman, I would like to thank Andy for doing a great job, I would also like to thank his stewards Ray Smith and new comer Tony Horton who would end having a great day. [with his normal lizards].  As I have said above Andy selected a clear cap over-year blue hen, which as I have said won the same show last year. when I took a look at the bird Andy had selected I thought I knew this bird.

Well done Lloyd, who is regular exhibitor at the National and travels from the Guernsey in the channel Islandsto show at the National.

second best Blue went to Stan Bolton with a good broken cap blue cock he also won the clear cap hen & broken cap hen classes a great achievement considering what happened to his stock earlier in the year.

best Novice went to Kieth Barker with a Non Cap Blue cock, second best novice blue went to first time exhibitor Terry Torode with a Broken Cap Blue Lizard. Thanks to all the exhibitors who showed at this year's show and hope to see you again next year.
