THE FIRST EVER ALL BLUE LIZARD SHOW WILL TAKE PLACE ON SUNDAY THE 18TH OF DECEMBER 2016 AT FORREST HILL VILLAGE HALL.

WINNER OF THIS FRIST SHOW WAS GOEFFERY WHITE WITH A CLEAR CAP BLUE HEN.

SECOND BEST IN SHOW WENT TO DTA LIZARD WITH IS NON CAP BLUE HEN WHICH SIMON SAID WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OVER THE QUALITY OF OVER- YEAR THAT BLUE LIZARDS CAN SHOW.

THIRD BEST IN SHOW WENT TO GARY MANN WITH A NON CAP BLUE HEN

FOURTH BEST WENT TO DTA LIZARD WITH A BROKEN CAP BLUE HEN

DAVID HAD A GOOD DAY WINNING 5 OF THE 8 CLASSES.

BEST NON CAP--G MANN BEST OVER-YEAR ---DTA LIZARD.

The number of entries was a little disappointing with 48 entered and 42 benched.

the show was held in the village hall at forrest Hill village just outside Oxford. the venue was well received by all the members who showed. Best blue was a Clear Cap blue cock of Geoff White this bird which displayed really dark well defined spangles and really nice clean neat clear cap. this bird was pushed close by David's over-year Non cap Blue hen. Which Simon said was a really good over=year bird with good spangles still and nice size. 3rd best blue went to Gary Mann with a Non Cap Blue hen. 4th Best went to David with a broken cap blue hen.

Geoff was presented with a trophy clock and a large picture frame with his winning rosettes in it.

Judge Simon Tamman was also presented with commerative glass tumbler by club Chairman Gary Mann.

members were well fed on the day by Tracy Allen [David's wife] with crusty bacon rolls in the morning first thing then later on sausage rolls, lunch was lasagne and salad.

Judge for the show will be world show 2016 judge Simon Tamman [who stepped-in at short notice]
